I've always wanted to use the words "eject" and "liver" in the same sentence ^^

For those of you unfamiliar with the anti-theft locking mechanisms on shopping carts, yes, they actually do exist. When you push the cart past a wire buried in the ground (the "perimeter fencing", if you will), it induces a charge and activates the brake on one of its wheels.

We have a couple of markets in the area with the "Invisible Fence" option. Homeless folks like to use shopping carts for bottle collecting.

Someone needs to red line the word "Cart" and replace it with "Wolf".

Kinetics are not necessarily one of Wolf's stronger subjects apparently :P

Still curious how Wolf will get home, assuming it's not in the back of an ambulance, and why he's looking for methane at a midnight grocery store instead of ya know, any camping supply place Ever.

Regardless, no good can come of this :)

I probably would have called it except I expected Wolf to have the foresight to disable the anti-theft mechanism. Granted he wouldn't have a full suite of tools but surely he could have carried a swiss army knife and/or a leatherman.

And there we have it, the derivation of Newtons second law, C=W*th², or the amount of chaos(C, measure unit is 1 ouch) is 1 Wolf multiplied with the amount of "let me think about it" squared.

@Silverwolf: I would say Wolf had a Leatherman once, it either exploded or got dissolved. Better don't ask...

I'd love to see a helmet designed for tiger ears. But I see another hazard: The tail! It may get caught in the wheel, the chain or other moving parts. Bikes and motorbikes for furries with tails need a tail basket (or a housing around the rear wheel). Otherwise it's in much greater danger than her bare feet (which are safely on the footrests, no problem during regular operation).

Ah, the days of being young and stupid(er)!

I remember having to go collect two friends from the ER when they did something similar... except replace 'trolley return bay' with 'side of parked semi' at a decent rate of knots... like Wolf, not the sharpest crayons in the box when it comes to thinking of consequences but also with with a side serve of inebriation.

Well, that didn't go as badly as I thought it was going to. I half expected wolf to be slung into oncoming traffic. (Though really, he's survived worse. That stunt he pulled in college with the fruitcake, for one thing.) Safety first, Wolf; wear a helmet, for goodness' sake!

Then again, knowing Wolf, even the helmet would be dangerous. He'd likely stick a thermite headlamp up there.

I'd love to know which side of his family Wolf inherited this level of stupidity.

Also I wonder how much further Wolf is going to digress from his plan to enact revenge on his college master.

Q: If he was crossing the anti-theft perimeter fencing and subsequently crashed into the trolley return site then does that mean the trolley return was outside the perimeter fencing?

OK. On panel 3... I admit that the Cheesy Wolf grin with accompanying "WHEEEEEEEEEEEE!" caused cheesy old coyote grins. I regret nothing! ;p

And on panel 4... I wonder what happened in the alternate universe where Wolf DID scratch Jessie's bike? Opens portal... sees bright almost blinding light quickly growing in intensity... hastily closes portal Errr... Whoops. That was the alternate universe where Wolf 'helped' with the cold fusion project. Ick! Let's just try that again shall we? Opens portal... flinches... covers ears... twitches... covers eyes... peeks... looks like he's gonna hurl... shudders... Ummm... Remind me not to make Jessie mad. I didn't know one could tie a tongue and tail together at that angle... well besides that one aardvark... but... ummm... I think this quote best fits what occurred... "The horribleness and awfulness of it will never actually be forgotten..."

I love this tour of campus the best. So many panels I get a chuckle every time I go thru the series. The 'WHEEEEEEEEEEEE!' is one I chuckle at every time.
