@Interstate2011 That's the door opener mechanism trying to open a locked door. They never turn those motors off for some reason, and I find it highly amusing.

@Marcwolf See if you can find After Dark's "Flying Toasters" screensaver (circa 1994/Windows 3.1 era) set to Wagner's "Flight of the Valkyries". Then turn on the closed captions :D (Hmm, side project, I should set up a Win 3.1 box just for this...)

I too find this amusing... why they lock doors and leave the motordrive powered on is perplexing... such a simple task to install an interlock cut-out yet rarely is it done...

Flying toasters... Dang that brings back memories of my old work 386s puttering along in the background with stuttering toasters on the screen which confused my boss no end... happy thoughts... ;-)

Yeah, no quip for this one...Wolf seems to be MIT material and yet he seems to give up on the "Haxxor" aspect.

Ultimately I'm wondering which program he ends up being recruited into. Professor Bullshite pretty much hosed himself out of a brilliant mind, not only able to handle the subject matter but able to produce information understandable to the lay person (at least I hope that was where he was going with the feynman diagram) and they pissed him away.

I wonder if there's hope with his academic advisor...

With the look of determination in Wolf's Eyes, I assumed (falsely) that Wolf was humming Wagner's "The Ride of Valkyries", with the WHAP and VRRRMM substituting the strings and ending with fear and someone's demise. I did not anticipate the anti-climax of Wolf's demise had this been "The Ride of Valkyries."

@Spazzmatt Interesting video game music you're thinking of. I didn't think of this comic like an arcade game :)

I think wolf will be able to think out a way to break/tear that door open. There is no promise that he won't use Jessie's bike to tow the door away anyway. :D

For the record... Jessie should swat Wolf's nose for acting so ungrateful after she went outta her way to give him a lift. I know he's caught up in a 'grand scheme' moment... but common courtesy shouldn't be forgotten. Plus... what if he needs another lift from her later... O_o

Also... I worked at such an institution of 'higher learning'... and we had a night security guard patrol and security cameras covering the building entrances. Something tells me Wolf wouldn't last long in jail... (or maybe the jail wouldn't last long with Wolf around?)
