Totally expected... Wolf! You put it up on blocks and Test It First!! Be glad you aren't the guy who rebuilt a powered stage apron. Two 10-HP 3-phase motors on each side linked with a common driveshaft so they stay in sync. And they didn't check the phase rotation... "Open!" Oh lordy, what a mess.

Well, that wasn't as bad as I expected. Heck, he's not even as beat up as when Jessie accidentally flung him into the cart return. What's still weird is the fact that he bothered to add blinkers and head and tail-lights, when he still refuses to wear any protective gear. (Or maybe the Iron-Wolf suit is just stashed away under development somewhere.)

Given Wolf's blundering I'd expect that cart to look more like a piece of modern art than the neat & tidy construction he's achieved.

I've heard it said that a lot of the world's greatest inventions probably involved a six-pack of beer and the statement "Hey, watch this!".

Wolfie doesn't need no steenking alcohol!

Though with his attention to details, I think he's going to forget why he modified a shopping cart somewhere along the line. I know a neat kinetic sculpture race he could enter.

@Jan: I didn't. He seemed to have become more adept since college...but hey, no plan survives first contact with implementation. I tried building a 120VAC to 5VDC power supply in 6th grade...blew up a capacitor because I thought it was bipolar instead of unipolar. Ah well.

@ndrvr: He'll probably look at the DoT manual as a challenge and make it street legal. It might even beat Jessie's bike on the highway...her Harley looks like a cruiser, not a racer. If she wanted speed on a Harley, she'd have bought a Buell.
