First time I heard the phrase "Waking a sleeping tiger" was in the episode of the 4th Doctor Who "The Power of Kroll" the largest monster in the classic series. The Doctor was using it to describe what happened (off screen) to the technicians who awoke the monster. Wolfram should heed this!

I'm reminded of the time I introduced a friend to sushi. Before I could stop him from doing so, he grabbed the little ball of wasabi and just ate it all at once. I'll never forget the look on his face.

@Panther ....why would we want to do that? Though personally I'd rather see Andrea do that. Then again, Silver had to have gotten her lastest 'instant reaction' from some place.. ;-)

Looks like after this we're still going to have at least one passed out tiger. You know Jan, we tigers do other things besides getting drunk / high and passing out. Most of the time. Well....sometimes. Ummm....I'll shut up now.

In an offshore production my safety boss was quite deaf and in the night he took off the hearing aid. One night he was sleeping through the alarm what raised some gossiping, hehe. Like installing a yellow alarm light in his room or connect a buzzer to his toe.

I was about to get really angry with Wolfram... until I realized that he probably wasn't playing a prank so much as trying to wake Tor up. Still, though... ouchies.

Oooh... Now I really wanna go to that mall.

Rare that they serve sake though, most malls aren't much for alcohol.

As for wasabi... I am reminded of a story a friend of mine told me. He's Jewish, and part of the Passover tradition is the eating of 'bitter herbs', usually parsley and horseradish. Well, one year, they had sliced horseradish chips, and wasabi (sushi-style Passover!). A friend from Norway was visiting, and had not been fully briefed on the dinner.

Yeah, he used a horseradish chip to scoop up a bit of wasabi. There was screaming.

Yep. The lightbulb above Wolf’s head should be red, flashing, and surrounded by hazmat symbols. O_O

20 years ago, I saw someone mistake a little tub of cheap wasabi for guacamole when someone else brought in a platter of nachos and a platter of sushi and placed them side by side. Needless to say, they never made that mistake again!

I've read these comics several times and this is the first time that I noticed that Andrea is wearing a leather vest. That isn't the one that Jan bought a few pages back, is it?
