This idea came from me drawing ketchup parametric equations on hash browns and then realizing I'm a hopeless geek :\

No, no, with cubed potatoes, I would attempt to solve the traveling salesman path with the tomato syrup. This also ensures every cube it touched with the red stuff at least once.

I prefer f(x)=e^x or f(x)=tan(x), myself. I am a man of simple taste. No need to LOG around squared variables. But I FIGURE I'm going off on a TANGENT here, which is never a good SINE.

I was a history and government major, and have a J.D. I had to look up what this cartoon meant, since on a first read, it flew about 35 feet over my head. I took logic courses to fulfill my math requirement, so you might as well be speaking Urdu when you go on these equations. Not complaining, mark you: the strip is funny. Just that I went "whuh?" early on.

@Panther well see, the table survived the shake-up, only the 'tatocubes are bleeding, so, minor injuries. That said, it might be safe...until Wolf whips out the Tomatothrower ^^.

If you're a minimalist, ketchup is fine, but imagine the art you could create with even more colorful condiments, mustard, avocado, chocolate syrup, etc., contrasted with the various foods that would serve as your palette. I mean the possibilities are endless. ;-)

Okay, for the first time ever I'm envious of Wolfram. I could never get my head around complex equations, much as I wanted to (they would have been great fun when I was playing around with Pov-Ray).

@Katnik - One of the background artists for Fantasia supposedly did use his wife's blueberry jam (which had been packed in his lunch) as "paint" for The Pastoral Symphony segment.
