Meep, it's hard to believe it's September...

I've been a little burned out lately, so for this installment of Nine to Nine, YOU get to write the comic ^^

So what did Andrea say on the S&S shoot that needed to be dubbed over? And what causes Tor to facepalm AND headdesk?

I will pick out the best ones to publish next week. Have fun with this, I can't wait to read your responses!

4 ANDREA: What's wrong with that one? TOR: That's Bomby's line from BFDI! We need something more original

5 TOR: Look can you not do ANYMORE lines from Bomby? ANDREA: Fine!

6 (At the portable recording booth) TOR (off-screen): Ready, set, go!

7 ANDREA: You better let me in, or I'll crush you!

8 ANDREA: What, you said no Bomby; You never said anything about no Flower.

Panel 3: Perhapsss we should asssssssk for directionsss to the Sssshrine?

Panel 4: Andrea: What is the problem? Tor: You were hissing your lines?

Panel 5: Tor: You had been hissing like a cat ever since your fight with Jessie. Andrea: Well I had to make sure she understood--

Panel 6: Tor: That isn't Silver's character! Can you at least try to clean it up so our viewers understand it is Silver talking?

Panel 7: Andrea: SEXY GRRRRROWWWWWWLLLLLL This can also be something like "I'm a Ssssexxxxxxy Lady!" :)

Panel 8: Andrea: There should be no misinterpretation now. or There should be no misunderstanding now.

4 ANDREA: What's wrong with that? TOR: Wrong? Are you Silver or Daisy Duke?

5 TOR: Look, it's a medieval setting, not the deep south. ANDREA: Ok, Ok.

6 (At the portable recording booth) TOR (off-screen): Ok, try to do something more period.

7 ANDREA: (Faked British accent) Well met, my dear. Dost thou knowest the way to the shrine?

8 ANDREA: How's that?

3 DIALOGUE: first bubble :bunch if sexy slurping sounds. Second bubble: This peace of meat is SSOOO juiciey. Its just getting all over my face but it's so good.

4 ANDREA: what's wrong with that TOR: it's to sex sugstive with those slurping sound.

5 TOR: maybe try a less sexy sound ANDREA: ok I will try

7 ANDREA: sexy sounding mmmhhmm sounds

Panel 4: (Andrea) Squeak, slipped a bit barbarian in...

(Tor) Just don't squeak in ADR.

Panel 5: (Tor) Just try it less more more angry.

(Andrea) Sure.

Panel 6: (Tor off-screen) And here's your cue!

Okay, here goes...first, the "continuity salvage" attempt...

1 (Tor and Andrea in front of the video editing computer) CAPTION: S&S editing session TOR: We need to ADR* this scene. ( * ADR = dubbing ) ANDREA: Why? TOR: You slipped on this line of dialogue.

2 TOR: Listen...

3 DIALOGUE (Andrea O/S): We'll return fire over this... (SFX): Peeeeeeen... (Andrea O/S): WHAT THE FLYING @#$@?!

4 ANDREA: You're actually using that footage? TOR: I'm trying to salvage something from that day.

5 TOR: Clickbait aside, if we use some of what we have, we only need to re-shoot the rest. ANDREA: Right.

6 (At the portable recording booth) TOR (off-screen): It'll take a lot of post-work to fix the video, I just need dialogue that fits.

7 ANDREA: Gods, Tor! It's the attack of the flying @#$@!!!

8 ANDREA: There! We can establish Amber as a real nymph without the post-work!

3 DIALOGUE: Who overcharged the fireball system? Run, it's going to blow!

4 ANDREA: Wolf did warn us about the pressure. TOR: It wasn't even in the script.

5 TOR: Maybe we can work it in with Bapple or a siege engine. ANDREA: Okay.

6 (At the portable recording booth) TOR (off-screen): Just try to use some of the words you used before, I can sync it during editing.

7 ANDREA: Charge! And prepare to be blown!

8 ANDREA: How was that?

I don't know if this is the BEST or the LAZIEST comic you've ever done. I'll be asking Schrödinger's cat as soon as I muster the courage to open the box.

3 DIALOGUE: I believe your crown is on the couch, your Magesty, oh regal Michael Watt! Maybe you should look there before yelling about beheading people!

4 ANDREA: I forgot that line, so I ad-libbed. TOR: It's too long for the visual joke!

5 TOR: It needs to be short and funny! ANDREA: Got it.

6 Tor: Just say it natural.

7 ANDREA: Sofa, King Watt!

8 ANDREA: That should do it.

I think Tor may have just accidentally activated a playback of a new noise cancelling program he was developing for the government. Clearly it is a very effective program.

4 ANDREA: Oh, the sci-fi ad-lib? TOR: And a reference beyond our target audience.

5 TOR: Look, it's got to be audience-relevant. ANDREA: Can do.

7 ANDREA: ...cupcakesss!

8 ANDREA: There, something our audience can relate to.

(Well if you want me to write A+ material this early in the morning, I'll need a better sight gag... and maybe a chicken. O_o )

There once was a tiger named Tor, Who said to Andrea "Dialogue, one more!", "You said that one word", "That rhymes with turd", So she redid it, but it was a horror

5 TOR: The entire line of dialogue could be misunderstood for the wrong reasons.
ANDREA: Oh!
