I'm having a serious problem with panel 2. I have an all steel audio rack in my keyboard room that's 50.5in tall, 22in deep and 23.5in wide. It's fully populated and weighs about 850+lbs. The three 2000W audio amps in the bottom alone weigh about 50lbs each. This thing isn't easy to move on tight pile carpet even on 5in diameter heavy duty, ball bearing casters.

The rack in panel 2 is larger, definitely taller, appears to have 2 high-end, high output power supplies/amps in the bottom slots and is sitting flat on the floor. There's no way that it's gonna be 'top-heavy' or easily tipped over. And anyone who's ever worked with rack mounted systems KNOWS to put the heaviest units on the bottom for maximum stability.

Questions: Just how heavy/durable IS Wolf's Nap Box, and what kind of speeds are they capable of. It had to be really haulin' ass and be REALLY heavy to knock the bottom of that rack out from under it.

Just a query from someone very familiar with this stuff.

Makes you you think, if Wolf survives this (means, he can outrun both his sisters and the rest of the angry mob), would his parents put him under hypnosis again or will they enroll an extensive psychological treatment? He might need it...

Or, should you desire a more plausible explanation: as force is mass times acceleration (F = ma), given a large enough acceleration, force also increases proportionally. Maybe the Nap Box was traveling at the speed of Bad News (as postulated by Douglas Adams), thereby undercutting the rack's center of mass and toppling it.

I'm an engineer (Computer & Electrical), and I've installed server racks several times over a 30 year career, so I know a fair amount about them. Here's my take...

A fully populated server rack is quite heavy, and wheels or no, it's not going to tip over from a cardboard box on wheels hitting it -- unless said box is traveling at a very high velocity, though in atmo it would likely have burned up before hitting the server rack at the velocity required.

Those are UPS units at the bottom -- uninterruptible power supply units (aka - battery backups), and yes, they can get rather heavy.

As for the direction it tipped over, ever see a utility pole after a car slammed into the bottom of it? The pole falls over on top of the car. A forklift ramming a stack of crates in a warehouse, the same thing will happen--that's why forklifts have a cage over the operator's head.

As for the absurdity of the 2nd panel, watch "Who Framed Rodger Rabbit". :)

I feel sad for him at this point. Yes zany wacky character, but god his childhood must of been a mess to end up like this. There's only so much you can pin on Wolf being Wolf's usual manic self.

Remember folks, this all happened because a tigress tried to romance a neurotic wolf who'd been traumatized as a kid about his nether region suffering if he ever gets cooties. And took that phobia into adulthood because nobody bothered correcting that issue. To the point he's waging a anti-cooties crusade thinking he's probably saving someone else's dangly bits alongside his own.

If you did this on purpose and not for comedy Jan congrats, you've made a comedy character trope with the messed up youth it'd take to create him. It just kind of puts the rest of his antics into a different light. Makes you wonder how much is his manic 'mad genius' personality and how much is childhood trauma.

Otherwise you could say, there was a chance of 1:1.000.000 and therefore doomed to happen without any doubt. If it was a chance of 1:10 or 1:100 i would say: forget it, but 1:1.000.000 on the other hand...

@Bored and Dangerous & @AncientWolf Sorry, but you are missing the most important factor in this: Wolf is involved, and when that's the case, even water is highly flammable and explosive. I would say the moment of inertia ran out of the room screaming the moment of Wolf approached :-)

But as regards telephone/utility poles, and also cutting down trees, they fall in the direction they have been structurally weakened. Want a tree to fall westwardly, then you chop it on the westward side. Probably the only thing I remember from Boy Scouts. Though here, the impact is low, below the center of mass, so I can see that factoring in as well, less likely to fall in the same direction as the impact.

@Silverwolf: IF Wolf were to end up in jail after this, he'd be even MORE dangerous when he got out. And by "Getting out", parole probably won't be involved. Do you have ANY idea WHAT he'd teach the inmates?! XD More importantly, would there be anything LEFT of said jail?

A lot of people are postulating about Wolf getting jail time from this. All I would say is I pity the poor jail that gets him... and the structural demise that would shortly follow... from him just trying to blend condiment packs on his bologna sandwich.
