@N7 I'm not so sure, Aug 23 2015 suggests otherwise, when Jessie calls Tor a "close friend", also ama-110 shows that they first met in art school. I think it's either a slip from Jan to let Tor calling Jessie "Sis", or it's a game these two do because they look alike so much... one of the mysteries of this comic, I guess.

somehow this made me think of a gag in "Big Nate" where he calmed down several angry people by Bonking them on the head with an empty plastic bottle. "bonk bonk bonk bonk bonk". THEN someone dared him to try it with the school bully, Chester..."bonk SQUINCH!" Chester STUFFED HIM INTO THE BOTTLE!
