If Wolf had gone through with it, they would've witnessed operation "Cock-Shock..." Ow!

I can only assume Phil somehow supplied the giant ACME spring and electrical components from his ever-present Wolf-preparedness kit.

(I love that I draw a comic that allows giant ACME springs to be a normal part of its lore.)

I am taking two weeks off for a much-needed break. The next page is scheduled for 20-Aug. I will post doodles and sketches in the meantime. Have a good one!

The one-before-last panel shows it clearly, that Wolf indeed wear a kilt. The only question, he use it 'properly', or he has a... "Second layer" underneath?

@Senok el Tirun That wasn't really up to him, since he was bluescreened at the time. I'd think if the guys cleaned him up they'd have thrown on the extra layer of containment. If Jessie was handling it, well I'd say that explains why a kilt was chosen in the first place and that it would absolutely be worn correctly.

Heh...I had to backtrack a moment to check that the pattern Wolf is wearing wasn't the same one the wrappers for the sliders used. :-)

@Kirsten Wolfess The pattern is due to the program used to do the art. I've used Adobe Photoshop v.10 (from back in 1999), now am using Corel Paintshop Pro 2022 and Corel Painter 2022, have used Gimp and Pixlr, still use Windows Paint for some things. The thing in common is that when you apply a texture or pattern of some kind, you can't rotate it or bend it around something to conform to the shape. Now, there may be other programs out there that might be able to do that, though they might be expensive/hardware demanding/huge learning curve. Corel Painter, for example, it's user manual is over 800 pages, and Corel does not include screenshots or try to make it easy to know where some tool is (try finding the Gradient Tool in Paintshop, for example -- easy enough in Photoshop, Gimp, and Pixlr, but it totally sucks in Paintshop, as do trying to make curves and lines or to just erase something like you can in Windows Paint without taking out everything through the background.

Uh, @Ancientwolf -- Paint Shop Pro absolutely does let you rotate a texture or pattern; you can either choose a rotation in the pattern-selection dialog before you apply it, or you can create a new layer, fill it, then rotate that later.

It also has a "warp mesh" tool that lets you deform and "bend" a selected area. I've used both of those tools in PSP many times. Perhaps you're just not looking in the right places?

(And if you're not able "to just erase something ... without taking out everything through the background" in PSP, I can only conclude that you're not using enough layers to keep all of your working elements separated from each other. I will grant you that PSP's curved-line tools are a pain in the butt to work with -- but I can't say I've come across any other program that makes spline curves and such particularly easy, either...)
