@Click Clack: With Shiera it is that she has caught Phil totally off-guard with being topless. In the States it is unusual for a woman to be topless in front of a man unless in very private settings or in a "Strip Club". So her showing up in front of Phil while at his desk has caught him totally unawares and in a very awkward situation. With Jan he is a lion and him showing up randomly with a jar of peanut butter would tend to confuse Phil. Phil has commented, in College Catastrophe that him eating peanut butter, at that time peanut butter cookies, make him less fearsome as a predator. V. fond of the style in S&S and 9to9, characters have a notably expressive quality. Result: Stronger characters. This AMA, verra good case in point (and hilarious).

An opinion: Suspect that Shiera, in her own way, is just as much a 'pouncer' as Amber, rowr. Is that a mischievous tail flick? Yes it is. Dare I say, lucky Phil. :- )

@LionkingCMSL I know about toplessness, I am American. What I don't get is what it has to do with a distrust of mirrors. I kind of get the peanut butter one now though...

Click Clack, it's not a distrust of mirrors, it's that Shiera wants an opinion from her mate, to make her feel better about being attractive. And knowing that she's still a looker.
