Jessie is a bad influence :P (In response to the holiday pic.)

I'm on holiday break; comics will resume next week. There may be an adjustment to the update schedule, depending on the work situation, as I'll likely be taking up a new part- or full-time gig which could affect my comic-drawing time. Will let you all know as plans develop.

Jessie is so mean to Tor... Though, I will say, that is pretty true to form to sisters. Mine has come up with some cruel pranks over the years too...

Question though... Andrea is Super shy, so why would she go along with the 'no pants' thing?

Apparently, Jessie is capable of removing the pesky censor bar that usually shows up, and replacing it with barbie-doll nudity. She oughta do that with a few other Furry comics.

@Antarian_knight She isn't his sister; everyone mistakes her for one in the 9t9 universe and in ours too ;) (confusion by design). I think the Animaniacs reference was a bit too obscure!

Lol, it seems unfair that silver should be the only one going bottomless! If you really want Tor to have an aneurysm you should both go with no pants!

@Jan Why are we just now learning this and wouldn't it make more sense for them to be siblings?

@Antarian_knight: later in the comics, when Jessie is talking to jan, she actually refers to Tor and Andrea as close friends, also in other comics, whenever she refers to Tor, she call him by his name, but not "brother". This is of course no law, but whenever I talked to someone and this person was refering to their siblings, they usually caled them brother or sister, but not by their name.

Maybe Jan will give some more insight into their backstory, something like they were always mistaken for siblings in kindergarten (they DO look alike) and this stuck, or something alike :-)

Some people keep referring to Andrea as Silver, but that's Andrea's character in Swords & Sausages. As Andrea she seems to be much more shy than Silver, as Antarian_knight observed. Also quite biddable, as this AMA suggests..., as well as Tor being able to talk her into streaking while 'making' S&S.

However, count me among those who thought Jessie was Tor's sister.

Also - I was ALSO under the impression that Tor and Jessie were siblings thanks to the 5/APR/2015 comic.

insert kinky sentence here i wonder those hearts are awfully big.. jessie and andrea... shakes head nevermind but fwoop a bird distracts andrea while jessie drags her into the room with the christmas tree while everyone stares in utter confusion and fluster~ XD

@jan; My mistake then.

@soriac; I almost never refer to my brother as 'brother' or my sister as 'sister'. I call them by name. I also consider my brother to be one of my closest friends.

@Sartharina; I am glad I wasn't the only one.

I think Jessie just loves teasing both Andrea and Tor. I mean friends do make jokes and sometimes do craazy stuff with and too them.

Antarian_knight. I also thought they were siblings. When I would introduce my sister, I always referred to her as "My sister" and her name. But, when I would speak with her, I always called her by her name without the title sister. I also never referred to a girl that wasn't related to me as sister. So, I guess I have a good excuse for being confused.

@jprime @soriac @Antarian_knight It's a problem of writing natural-sounding comic dialogue but not having enough panel space for a backstory ;) I more often hear friends refer to friends as "bro"/"brother"/"sis" than actual siblings doing the same. Could be a regional thing.

Errr… I mean… I think Andrea needs a matching leather bikini… for ‘balance’… yeah.
