Wolf's family drives cross-country back to the city to throw Wolf a Thanksgiving "picnic", and has him invite his friends over. On the (potential) menu:

Dad's VW engine-roasted turkey and potatoes (extra octane-y)
Mom's fail-safe "resilient casserole" (extra cheesy)
Wolf's "fast-cooking" turkey (extra airy)
Steph's even-faster-cooking "atmospheric re-entry simulation in a micro jet engine-powered wind tunnel" turkey (extra crispy)
Fina's classic char-grilled turkey (extra smokey)
Jessie's tofurkey dogs (no buns)

Thank you everyone for supporting my art and comics this year ^^ I seriously couldn't do it without you! I have one more 9t9 update coming, then plan to take December off (Patreon will be paused) to catch up on a lot of IRL happenings. Have a safe Thanksgiving holiday!

A tradition we don't follow, but I wish we did! Even if turkey ends up being a little too dry for my taste... Also, what the hell is a tofurkey dog???

As a VW owner, you can in fact cook many things if you can get it hot enough. Which is very easy.

Jessie loves tofu turkey? I didn't know she was into them. Or is it just that they have the highest probability to be edible after all this? Anyway, better not let Phil near them.

And the fire-extinguisher near Wolf is a nice, but necessary extra :-)

You know, Wolf, not everything HAS to explode. The dad's cooking technique is actually perfectly viable. Mythbusters proved it. Though I think Fina's will probably taste the best. Something about meat on a charcoal grill is just delicious.

The only thing that gets me is that apparently the tinfoil on the engine turkey is a new idea, implying that he previously cooked it on the engine without?

At least Steph is using a jet engine, for a moment there I thought that was a liquid fueled rocket engine! And given that I didn't see any cryogenic tanks, I was worried about the MMH/NTO fumes and the rest of the crew!

to Wolf: I've never seen an exploding turkey before! What'd you do, flash-freeze it in liquid nitrogen then drop it in a vat of boiling oil?

if that is their thanksgiving, you gotta wonder what their 4th of july is like. if i lived near them i would prolly have a bomb shelter and a bomb squad suit and blast sheild with little window to look thru

I've tasted the wings, chests, legs, fillet, nuggets, bites, and even a glued-stake, but i've yet to try Chikenwolfallout(tm).

I'm sure Jamie Hynaman and Adam Savage would be proud of the Wolf family for their dedication to Myth Busters style of cooking. XD

Normal folks would know that turkeys do NOT make good fireworks. Wolf on the other hand....

As for the VW turkey... Was it gas, or diesel cooked? Inquiring minds want to know.

Yes, I would be brave enough to try the casserole, as well as Jessie's tofurkey dogs. (probably goes best with loads of onions and ketchup)

As for the Char Grilled turkey.... I'll just stick to the dressing. =P

Is it me or does Wolf appear to have the LEAST hazardous setup for his turkey? I mean the result is questionable, but charcoal, wood, a metal container...I don't see oxidizer or propellant.

How in the bloody hell did that happen?
