It is wrong. You're sharp :)

This was one of those strips where I had to make a compromise between the script, the visuals, and the logic. Originally, Wolf's key got stuck in the doorknob, but such a tiny detail couldn't produce the visual impact I was looking for.

On a side note, there was an alternate ending to the strip. In the last panel: Wolf: Problem. Phil: Doorknob? Wolf: Safety!

at this point i can't help but wonder if they were both trying to open the door from opposite sides at the EXACT same time ending up with a broken door knob hehe
