The Carthusian monks bake breads that gets rock hard after several days, (I lived with them for about a month to get my life straightened back and get rid of my anxiety) and I suspect it could break a bone if you smash them to someone.

Just started reading, but I already love it. And I find myself reminded of the way a Malkavian died in a VTM game. Instead of day-old bread, it was a salami.
