That archer has rapid fire. from the time that he drew his first arrow (last page), to the time that Cless threw his axe (a few seconds later), the archer already fired 4 arrows. I shoot a classic recurve bow, and I can tell you, I can NOT shoot that fast... I guess that explains his terrible accuracy from 10 yards away, and then the lucky shot on the sickle.

Why is he using a sickle in the first place?

Also, how does shooting the sickle out of his hand stop him? Just hop off of the wagon and pick it back up!

Also, why does the guy still stand on the wagon, even though the archer took 3 shots at him already! I'm not going to stand on the wagon thinking, "Oh, there is someone shooting at me... What do I do?"... Hide behind the wagon when being shot at.

I'm not hating, I'm just judging the logic of this page... I still love it though! :3

Now now... ANY axe is a throwing axe if A. you're strong enough to throw it and B. you're not concerned with someone taking it from you post-toss.

@Spazzmatt I think after the rapid fire arrow stream, he's a bit too scared to try picking up the sickle again. So, maybe there is a bit of logic here.

That particular axe is not threwn......it is a FLYING axe. Why do you think it attracts birds...forged out of molten wingbones with a feather of the old gryphon, and during that, enchanted by a screech of a blind owl... It flew right into the face of that Tapir. It flew ! [Joker (Heath Ledger) voice] Very, very snicker important...difference. [ /Joker voice]

No but I've seen great axes and battle axes turned into projectiles successfully, so many good memories came flooding back :)

@Vanabel: I was playing a werewolf in a tabletop campaign and used a vampire as a thrown weapon...and apparently Silver has a weapon proficiency in bread.

I love how like 33% of Commenters seem to be Archers. That pooor Tapir-fellow was lucky Cless is such a skilled thrower he hit him with the blunt side, not the blade :3 (As someone who tried such things as Axe/Knife-Throwing i can tell you its difficult if you dont know the exact distance)

(1) "Klong !" Heh, the fabulous Humming Axe doubles as a gong. Wonder what key it's tuned to ?

(2) If Silver plays her cards right, she might buy it for a steep discount. Just ask Cless if he would like to discuss it over a drink ...

I wonder if the girl is some kind of unarmed brawler or if Cless was supposed to be buying two weapons when he went out shopping.

@spazzmatt, @Lepidolite Mica I agree with Lepidolite Mica that the first three shots were just supposed to be supressive fire to make him cower so he could be disarmed without harming the wagon driver... at least that's what he'd say when they ask him later on why it took four arrows to get the job done.

@Spazzmatt Totally sound like hating. This is not Game of Thrones you know. Chill, you just have to know that leopard guy thrown a ridicules large singing axe at bad guys and save the girl that is enough :D

@Matt Know League of Legends? Seen Ashe Q? Good and you CAN shoot three or more arrows at same time, not sure about the accuracy though. And this is a 14+ Comic, NO BLOOD NO GORE. Even if that AXE was suppose to hit and kill someone it won't. AND it is obvious the Tapir ( Bad guy) is trying to stop the leopard girl get his DAGGER (obviously not a knife.) away.

If it's stupid and it works, it's still stupid and you're lucky... And why is Tor carrying Silver?, did I miss a strip where she got hurt? I certainly wouldn't want to miss anything where she strips... Has the leopard lady been given a name yet?, and if she has, what's her phone number?

Well at least Cless has 'Heroic Throw'... so he has some ranged abilities... when he's not throwing his weapons away that is. And why aren't the birds following that axe and attacking the target... poor use of minions methinks. They're still missing a healer by-the-way...

And I can easily explain the wagon and missing arrows/holes. See... the arrows were 'Magic Arrows'... that evaporated back into the ether once they had impacted and caused damage. As for the wagon... that canvas is obviously fine self-sealing canvas sold by none other than Crazy Carl Coyote's Outfitting Service (*).
