I love everything about this, especially Bapple's reactions to them surfacing. And I do have to agree with Kiela's reaction.

How in the heck did Silver's pants come off? Aren't they like, form fitting and tight? Did the carp just eat the ties off?

Yes Kiela doesn't quite understand why Silver's clothes leap from her body, yet.

She will learn. Tor on the other hand is looking at Silver as if saying, "Again?"

It seems there is something not quite right with these pants, they tend to rip, break and get lost way too often. Perhaps Silver should think about getting a skirt? And come to think of it, maybe it wasn't the jewel at all, maybe Silvers trousers were the REAL bad luck charms all along?

By the way, I've always imagined those to be leather. What happens when she puts them back on and they start to shrink ?

the dragon has an interest in both Silver and Tor surviving. He/She attached to Tor Silver was supposed to by destined for the sword it was protecting for its true master. which I have a feeling will wake up after having the bird fall on it. Also do we really know whose pants those are the could be the fortune tellers that she had on under her robe. Both she and Silver are looking at them wondering
