(The colors may look a bit wonky since I did this at home on a monitor that doesn't have the correct calibration. When I have a chance to get back to my studio -- hopefully next week -- I'll fix the color issues.)

I don't know that I've ever seen it explained in the comic, but is there a reason why Kiela keeps her magic a secret? Are mages and wizards and the like taboo in this world?

At any rate, the cat's out of the bag now.

naw mate, teh colours are quite substantial to the action thats taking place. also i really like the way your got the story and characters. (it took a few yrs to re-find the comic again)

Hmmmmm... that looks like a Water or Ice based spell Kiela is casting or power she's calling forth. I wonder if it is studied spell, an inate ability, or some item she has on her person.

I know you said your coloring might be a bit wonky, but honestly it looks good on my end....the background looks good for a twilight scene, the contrast between bright's and darks are really good, and the main characters seem to be very prominent.....If this is a bit off, it looks really good!
