Hummmmmm... so... does this mean, the axe is responding to the magic crystal ball, or Kiela is secretly an avian in disguise? We might never know ;)

I had a PC breakdown earlier this week; SSD died and I lost the first draft of this page. With your Patreon contributions, I was able to purchase replacement hardware and get back up and running in two days. So, whew -- thank you for saving my bacon :) I'm drawing the next 9t9 ASAP and hope it'll be done by tomorrow.

@Jan: There's a pigeon flying closely overhead, changing altitude to make the axe react and mess with the adventuring party.

Either that or Kiela is a cat which has retractable feathered wings, like Happy from Fairy Tail.

Or Tess (https://www.tigerknight.com/99/2014-01-01) is making an entrance in the series?

@Jan don't say your SSD hummed the same way before it died, 'specially like in panels 5 to 9 XD.

anyone notice the sword humming or vibrating every time bapple looks up or at it? @TeflonCougar What if you need ten security gaurds or police officers, as in watch out for the coppers. Would anyone pay their hazard pay just to pet the dragon. Also shouldn't be 20 coppers or other prices for healing spells and potions (for burns). Is it raining from the axe it seems like something is dripping off it in the panels

SSD are suppose to last longer that a regular HD?

I was thinking of having one in my new com to boot faster, but normal HD to store everything else. I HD I can have a warning of a failure, unless I'm hit by a lightning of a power surge that the power bar can't respond in time?

Maybe the axe resounds for anything with wings, like Bapple ? Is there about to be a rain of pigeons again ? Is Kiela somehow involved with the Singing Axe Of Shattersong ? Is she a (lot) older and more important than she seems ? Hmmm, why am I suddenly hungry for bacon ?

Hang on, weren't they given that magical ax by that wizard group? The wizards were trying to get these four warriors to go and search for "her"... is Kiela this "her" they were referring to? Is Kiela a wizard/witch/whatever?

Actually, it seems the axe is humming to lead him to the dragon. As soon as the axe is directly over the dragon, it stops humming. But when he moves it away from the dragon, over Kiela, it starts humming again, telling him he needs to move back over the dragon to find what the axe is looking for. Or, at least, this is what I'm getting.
