@ Jo Li KMC Yeah yeah, always blame the higher-ups for your own decisions... Why not blame Kiela's classmates for vigilantly reporting sorry, ahem "snitching" to the council in the first place, all over the rules she went out of her way to break? Maybe they could have been better people, maybe better students if they weren't already in good standing with their grades.

You do realize that Medieval catapults were flat pack (like IKEA)? The parts were dragged along in wagons & on baggage animals then assembled on site after their place had been nicely leveled & reinforced.

So, to recap Kiera's mistake (Bun Hunt, p30), she was working on a dissertation for her senior year at the Magic Academy of Academia – that being magic could safely be used outside of Academia. As she was in the middle of enchanting the pale-blue dragon, one of the academy faculty interrupted her spell (Bun Hunt, p32), causing it to change from a charming spell to a face-punching one. (Magic 101: Never interrupt a spell mid-cast unless you know what will happen!)

She had to petrify the enraged dragon and when the faculty told her she was to be expelled, she lost her temper and blew up what used to be the Kingswood (Bun Hunt, p34). Thus, I say it was their fault everything happened, not hers. She was just an eager student trying to leave a lasting impression – and I don't mean by blowing up the landscape.
