Uh oh, plot hole, bananas are banned in the kingdom, then why did the merchant had some in the last comic? Is the possum secretly an arms dealer?

@Lownleinhigh: it has been established, eg #5-22, that they can speak a bit other than just "moo" and it is very likely that at least most of the cows can understand the other characters. But this won't prevent them from using mooo in all its fine nuances, of course :-)

Aw man. Banana control laws. Now only law enforcement and criminals will have 'em. How am I supposed to protect my home from trespassers now? Apple peelings don't work nearly as well when used as a slipping hazard. And how am I supposed to make a banana split sundae without the banana? :-(

@Soriac - If you'll look at previous comic, bananas came late in the fruit storm. Means, they were at the bottom of the cart. Means, they're hidden deep below all other produce, and sold only to people who whistle while approaching, wink twice, and ask for "imported pears". :p

In 1991's Final Fantasy Legend II, there's a point where you have to shut down what, in the translation, is referred to as a banana-smuggling ring. This was a misguided attempt to hide the truth present in the original Japanese version, 1990's SaGa 2: Hihou Densetsu, wherein they were explicitly stated to be smuggling opium. When I went through that part of the game, I swapped every instance of "bananas" for "opium" when reading the dialogue.

. Somewhere in Vale Valley is a basement blazing with grow lights (grow torches ?) And a really high ceiling. . On a side note, did Tor once taunt a pigeon with an eggplant, is that why they have it in for him ? Hmmm, petulant pigeons protesting plants with perfidious placards. I'd stand in line to see that.

(opening sequence to 'The Incredi-Bull' Mavid Manner: mild-mannered Barbarian, seeking a life of peace, happiness, service to his community, and cud chewing. Then an accumulated overdose of potassium-based injustice alters his body chemistry. And now when Mavid Manner grows angry or outraged, a startling metamorphosis occurs.... da da da MOOO! and then a soccer... err... sock'em match breaks out)
