The barbarian strikes up a conversation with the leader of the invading force, convincing them there's nothing of interest in the area. Someone in the army get angry and flings a banana at the barbarian, who goes berserk and ends up punching the leader into orbit.

I'm with PunkTiger on this one: Diplomacy is highly effective in most cases, but if an attempt at diplomacy ends with knocking the superior officer of an aggressive, invading army into the next COUNTRY, well... that's kind of win/win.

I think the barbarians will think the warhorns of the army are insulting them in thier own language and ALL go berserk at the same time, driving off the invasion single handed. Similar sort of sound, you know?
